社會處指出，基隆市府為表達關懷之意並協助尼泊爾救災重建，亦於二十七日啟動「基隆市社會救助金專戶」，接受民眾指定「尼泊爾地震賑災」愛心捐款，轉交衛生福利部，以協助災民度難關，市府聯絡人社會處社會工作及救助科高小姐，電話：24201122分機2233。
社會處也表示，民間團體如發起勸募活動，請依公益勸募條例相關規定向各級主管機關申請勸募許可後辦理。
