其實，這並不是殷仔本季首次優待媒體早點下班，5月中在主場對陣天使隊，殷仔與韋佛大演投手戰，比賽只用了2小時又23分鐘，6月中對費城人之役，更是僅用2小時09分就完成比賽。
殷仔昨役投球極為「經濟」，先發8局只用87球，僅第3、4、6局讓遊騎兵打者站上過壘包，有5局3上3下，全場也僅4局上曾讓對手攻占上得點圈。
值得一提的是，殷仔昨役未能挑戰完投勝，金鶯在7、8局的兩波攻勢，各打了20多分鐘，總教練修瓦特怕殷仔在場邊「晾」得太久，是原因之一。但若不是這兩局多拖了些時間，還有4局上殷仔被魯亞敲出右外野陽春炮後，金鶯針對這支剛好打中全壘打牆上緣的長打提出即時重播挑戰，比賽恐怕還會更快。
